Nay, thunder repeats His praises, and so do the angels, with awe: He flings the loud voiced thunderbolts, and therewith He strikes whomsoever He will. How to make Japan #2

It's time I start posting in different languages. Lets learn a little bit of  japanese:

yakitate = freshly baked
pan = bread
ja-pan = japanese bread (not a japanese language. Just a pun)

Thus, yakitate ja-pan = freshly baked japanese bread.......

Right! Today I'm going to share a little something to all you readers out there. I'm going to tell you how to bake your own ja-pan #2. Why #2??? Because that's the only bread that the anime show, Yakitate! ja-pan showed how to bake it. Thus, I have decided to post it in this blog so all of you can try baking your own Ja-pan #2.

Firstly, the ingredients:

1. Bread Flour (350 g)
2. Butter (21 g)
3. Sugar (21 g)
4.  Milk (35 cc)
5. Water (180 cc )
6. Dry Yeast (5 g)
7. Salt (6.5 g)

Alright. Firstly I must tell you, Ja-pan #2 isn't like any other bread. It's  not baked inside an oven like other breads. Instead, it is baked inside a rice-cooker. Yes! A rice-cooker.
Ok! let's get started.

1. Firstly, measure the bread flour according to the recipe stated above. Put the bread flour inside a rice-cooker pot. Mixed in the sugar, salt.

2. Dissolve the dry yeast with water. Make sure the yeast is completly dissolve.

3. Add in the dissolved yeast into the mixture of bread flour, sugar and salt.

4. Add in the 180 cc of water into the mixture.

5. Knead the dough until it is really compact.

6. Insert the butter inside the dough.

7. Knead it some more thoroughly. When the dough is no longer sticky, shape it until it is round.

8. Leave it in a warm place for about 60 minutes (primary fermentation). Wait for the dough to rise. If it dosen't rise, then there must be something wrong with your mixture.

9. Get rid of the extra gas inside the dough by dropping it from a height of about 50 cm.

10. Leave it again for another 60 minutes (second fermentation).

11. Place the rice-cooker pot that contains the dough into the rice-cooker. Switch on the rice-cooker and set it to 60 minutes.

12. After 60 minutes, turn over the bread and bake it again for another 60 minutes.

13. After another 60 minutes, turn it once more and bake it again for 60 minutes.

14. And now you have baked your very own Ja-pan #2.

* It may take a long time to bake Ja-pan #2. However, that is what life is all about. You work hard, be patient, do all your best and you get what you deserve.

* If you want it to become softer, just add in more water or milk.

* If you want to eat it Japanese style, try adding in some eggs or green tea when mixing the dough.

OK ENJOY ~^_^~

INCASE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND A WORD I'M SAYING, YOU COULD WATCH THE VIDEO OF HOW THE INVENTORS OF JA-PAN #2 BAKE IT:
